The batter is so light on the fish. We liked it.

So good and so easy and so delicious! I just LOVED them. The fish came out so crispy and had that perfect salty bite. I didn't even need the sauce but it was also delicious! Thanks Sandra!

I have made this at least 20 times and I am now finally sitting down to rate it! My family loves it!! Very easy and quick to make. The sauce is fantastic!!! I have also grilled the fish on the BBQ and it turned out just fine. Thank you for posting it.

I made this for a beach trip for the whole crew of 14! I got such rave reviews that I have been requested to make them again this weekend. I think there will be 18 of us this time! The only thing I did was take some of the sauce and mix it with the cabbage. This made it easy for everyone to make their own tacos and many put extra "slaw" on the side.

Wonderful recipe but as a former health inspector, I cringed when Sandra talked about recycling paper grocery bags for placing the fried fish on to soak up the oil. The same thing that makes the paper soak up oil could potentially soak up bacteria and other contaminates. Bags used to carry raw foods should NEVER be allowed to come in direct contact with cooked foods! For the same reason I wouldn't recommend the new "reusable" shopping bags, they should be washed and sanitized between uses and most people won't.

My family & I love this meal. My kids are 7 & 9 & aren't huge fish fans but they love these tacos & sauce! The sauce is delicious!!! To make the tilapia I actually dip it in egg & use ritz crackers (that i smash to make into crumbs as the breading. It's much more flavorful that way! This meal is a favorite!

YUMMY! Everytime I announce that I'm making fish tacos to my family they get VERY excited. The fish is cooked simply and delivers a nice, light bite, and the sauce truly hits this recipie out of the park.

This is delicious! The receipe is very, very easy. My favorite part is the sauce. The only thing I would do next time (and there will definitely be a next time is go ahead and mixed some of the sauce with the cabbage and leave some sauce to the side for extra. I think a will just double the portion of the sauce in the recipe.
