This was amazing! My tweaks: I doubled the sauce and had to thicken it with cornstarch, it was just way too thin. Crisping the beef on high heat smoked out my house, I had to turn it down and wait a little longer for it to crisp. But I'm so glad I did! The crispy beef was a great texture change in this dish! Since I had more beef than called for and double sauce, I should've double my broccoli, or added other stir fry veggies. Will do next time though! I also added more ginger than called for which I think cut the sweetness a bit since I can't handle added heat.

Not a fan at our house, my husband refused to eat it. He claims this recipe is just too sweet.

Deliscious! I loved the sauce so much it'll be our new go-to dipping sauce. If you haven't tried this, go make it now!

My husband and I love this meal! The sauce is so flavorful, I always double it and add a dash of red pepper flakes for a kick. I found it easier to fry the meat in a deep fryer.

Absoulutly delicious. I used round steak instead because I thought the chuck would be too tough. The sauce had great flavor but I did add a 1/2 tsp. red pepper flake to give it a little heat, and I threw in some chopped carrots and a few chopped mushrooms. Super easy and quick. BETTER THAN TAKEOUT!!!

Excellent! The recipe was a hit with my husband; he said he couldn't stop eating! I loved the crunchy beef; added some wonderful texture. If you watch the actual episode; Sandra actually puts in 1/2 cup of soy sauce; not 2 tablespoons of soy sauce. Maybe that's why some reviewers complained about the lack of taste, but that was a mistake on the website's recipe. I also lightly salt and peppered the steaks prior to drenching them in cornstarch. It was delicious and a keeper!

Cooked this tonight and was very excited that it tasted as good as the recipe looked. Like some reviewers mentioned, I made a little more sauce than the recipe called for but not sure how much more as I typically do not measure ingredients in a recipe like this. Served over brown rice to make a little healthful. I happened to have beef short ribs (boneless on hand that were not very fatty so used that for the beef --excellent! Also added red pepper flakes to the sauce--excellent again. All around, a very good recipe that I will make again and again. Thanks Sandra.

The first time I made this, I made it with beef but it came out really tough and we didn't think there was enough sauce to go with the rice. However, I made this a second time with pork tenderloin, doubled the sauce (thickened with a little cornstarch, added a red bell pepper and a can of water chestnuts and it really came out amazing! It's great how easily customizable this recipe is.
