I too used panko mixed with a little old bay instead of the fish seasoning. Other than that I followed the recipe. I served them with the remoulade sauce and lettuce on toasted rolls. These are going to replace my salmon burger recipe. Thanks Sandra

I made these to complement a seafood themed evening with friends. These were the most talked about dish. I was skeptical to get this recipe from Sandra Lee, but was surprised when it called for fresh salmon and not from a can. The remoulade sauce was the best I've made and the dish came together in no time!

I highly recommend this recipe and passed it along to others!

DELICIOUS! WE ARE USED TO MY VERY FLAVORFULL CANNED SALMON LOAF, MADE WITH RED SALMON ONLY. I REALLY WANTED A GOOD REMOULADE TO ACCENT THE TASTE OF MY RECIPE..........AFTER LOOKING @ THEM ALL, I HESITANTLY CHOSE THIS COOK'S VERSION. SMART CHOICE, IT IS MY NEW STANDARD FOR FISH! SINCE THIS IS LENT, NEXT BATCH WILL BE DOUBLED............MY HUSBAND LOVED IT BIG TIME!

I pretty much followed the recipe except for I used bread crumbs in the salmon mixture and used cracker meal to coak them and fry then in. Used a little bit more hot sauce. The remoulade goes wonderfully with the salmon! So easy and quick to make!

Waaaaaaay too much salt in the Kraft Fish Fry, almost to the point of being inedible. Better to use Panko crumbs and season to your own taste.

This is such a great recipe. I used canned salmon. I even tried it with canned tuna one time and it was great.

These were so simple and so good! I was not able to find pre-cooked salmon at my local grocer (besides smoked so I used Chicken of the Sea pre-packaged pink salmon (found next to tuna. They turned out great. I used the seafood breading mix for the croquette mixture, however I breaded them in cornflake crumbs to add a little crunch. I will make these again. They also reheat in the microwave really well. I had them for lunch the next day and they held their crisp after one minute in the microwave.

We needed a last-minute sauce to serve with salmon and this remoulade was fast and easy in the blender. I added a splash of the the caper juice and substituted a tablespoon of sweet onion for the scallions. It is excellent!
