The best recipe for deviled eggs! I also added one tsp of sugar as I don't like the strong taste of mustard and everyone raved about them.

These are delicious. Everyone loves them and they disappear in minutes. I never have yellow mustard so I just use Dijon. I skip the paprika and add some hot sauce for a little extra kick.

This is the way my mother made them and so do I. I say, If it is good like it is, don't change it.

I'm confused. Do I let the eggs boil for 12 minutes? Or the 12 minutes includes the time it takes the cold water to start boiling

@dee not everyone loves ham in their eggs. sheesh..same here sherry my stepdad dont like pickles so i had to omit that (stinks wanted to try something different. but loved the tip on putting the egg mixture in a plastic bag and cuttin a tip out of it. i ALWAYS have trouble stuffing the eggs with a spoon. cant wai tto make these for today (thanksgiving....also thanks for the advice on how long to boil the eggs! (yes i know how to cook, bake etc but i always either undercook/over cook the boiled egg (i dont boil eggs alot either have scambled or sunny side up. <3 sandra lee and her shows!
