I loved this recipe. It was gone in no time. Initially, I thought adding cream was weird, but it tasted great and I didn't notice any curdling. I did make it with vodka.

I didn't add the alcohol to this recipe so that may be why it was a little heavy on the sugar for me. The cream does curdle when you add the cream but if you don't look, it's not a problem, haha. If I make this again, I will use about a 1/2 cup of sugar instead of a full cup.

So my husband is a beer drinker and usually can't stand mixed drinks and says the tast of alcohol is terrible. He loved this drink however and said that even with the Vodka, it tasted just like a smooth lemonade. I loved it too, but was more shocked by his response. If you like fresh lemonade at all, you'll love it too.

This is a very tasty treat! I only used about about 2/3C of sugar, but it still came out perfectly! The cream gives in just a little extra richness, and it looks great in a clear pitcher on the table. Keep the great recipes coming, Sandra!

    Sandra
Lee says to mix cream, lemonade and vodka to make a "delicious, sweet treat." From the look on her face, we suspect this is a lie.

Also, when you put accidentally put cream in tea that has lemon -- it curdles (sigh.

I'm not sure if I like it....I didn't think it was "lemoney" enough for me. The cream seemed to be in the for front. I decided to add another lemon to the recipie and I liked it a little better. If you're looking for a Sweet Lemonade I don't feel this is the recipie for you. The cream gives the drink a more richer flavor rather than sweet.

The lemonade was not good - I didn't care for the taste at all. Not to mention Sandra is saving you "13%" on sausage, but apparently feels the need to add heavy cream to lemonade.

By the way - I can't decide which is worse; the grammar from previous reviews, the fact that every one of these posts reviews the drink without actually trying it, or the fact that FN monitors these posts and STILL posts them.

I think that this will be a great drink to serve to my daughter and her friends at her next sleep over. I can't wait to try it out. I bet it will be a big hit! I also love the outfits and decor changes on all your shows!!!
