    Simple and delicious, no need to "tweek" it like others I have tried. Also works well with flank steak, just needs a little more caution when cooking, as it's not as tender.

    DELICIOUS!! I added some baby portabellas with the shallot since we love mushrooms and steak. I had never cooked flat iron steaks before and wasn't sure about them. They are a lower cost steak but the trick is in making sure your iron skillet is very hot and that you don't overcook them. Excellent!!
