    Seems like everyone either loves or hates this one. I love it. It is easy on a working mom and still tastes great. The onions were nice and soft, without all the butter or oil to caramelize them. I have made several times.

    This is the absolute best French Onion soup I have ever had and this is not just my opinion. My husband LOVES French Onion soup. He gets it at every restaurant that we go to and even he agrees with me. Not only is it phenominal in taste it is super easy to make. Thanks, Sandra Lee, and keep the delicious and simple recipes coming!!!

    I LOVED it!!! Not too salty...great flavor...I cooked it about an hour longer than it called for, as I had things to do and lost track of time, and in doing that, my onions were perfect. Thanks Sara!!!!

    I have tasted great French Onion Soup in the past. This is one of the worst onion soup recipes I have ever tasted. It was salty, flavorless and not one good thing I can say about it. I will never make anymore of her recipes again.

    My family loved this soup although I let mine cook all day an all night the eight hours didnt make the onions soft enough for us so let it cook a little longer if you perfer. Thanks Sandra

    Delicious! I remember this flavor from a childhood visit to a local Montreal restaurant. It is satisfying and light with great flavor!

    I thought this was a pretty decent recipe. Keep in mind people, there are those who repeatedly claim they made Sandra's recipes to complain about them. Wonder why they keep trying them. My family likes this very much and it wasn't too salty at all
