I make this my kids Birthdays every year, they request it often, the only down side, I can't cut into the bread well, I know it's me, so I just layer, lol

The sauce was a little too tart, so I added more honey. Maybe it needed strawberries frozen in syrup? The cream cheese also needed more strawberry flavoring, so I added an extra 2 tablespoons. The toast was great. I really enjoyed the orange vanilla flavor to the bread.

I thought it was strange that the Strawberry Cream Cheese Sauce called for Sour Cream, but I made it according to the directions anyway. That was a mistake. I loved the french toast but I will use cream cheese for the filling and the sauce next time.

...just was not impressed with how fast the bread got soggy with the cream cheese and sour cream mixture.

I was a little concerned about this recipe after reading the other reviews, but it was great! It is very easy, I did add an extra tablespoon of strawberry preserves which made it sweet enough for us.

I didn't have orange liqueur, so I used orange extract it worked just fine.

The strawberry sauce was good, although it taste a little like a smoothie.

i just made this recepie for a quick breakfast for unexpected guests and it was delicious. i used french bread and a strawberry rhubarb jam. i also used triple sec instead of grand marnier and buttermilk instead of regular milk---wow!! not sure why there have been so many negative reviews...this recepie is super easy and absolutely delicious.

This recipe was very sweet and delicious. We found that the liqueur was a bit strong and have cut it out. Also good with cherries substituted for strawberries

The toast lacked a great deal of flavor.

I made for breakfest and thought it taste great! Instead of using orange liqueur, I used orange juice. I also served it with a simple strawberry syrup instead of the strawberry cream cheese sauce.
