Ingredients
- Canola oil
- 3 pounds chicken with skin (pre-cut from the grocery store - legs, thighs, wings)
- Salt
- All-purpose flour, for dredging
Directions
Heat 1/2-inch of oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and cover in flour (use a large plastic resealable bag). Place chicken in oil and brown on all sides evenly, about 4 to 5 minutes per side, or until chicken is fully cooked through. Remove to a paper towel and refrigerate until cold. This is best made 1 day in advance.

This is the best recipe quick and easy. Just add your own spices. All the other recipes call for buttermilk. who keeps that.

This was a quick and simple recipe. I used thighs to give meatiness to the recipe. These take about 10 minutes longer to cook than the recipe specifies. I also used panko crumbs instead of flour and added fresh ground pepper as well. They were nice and crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. A very quick method for a tasty quick meal.
