I made this without the chicken or the BBQ seasoning since I didn't have any. Frankly, I was expecting it to be a lot better.

Made this for the first time tonight, when I needed a quick and delicious meal. Chances are, you have all the ingredients already at home, especially if you have kids! My kids and husband loved this. I did cut the B-B-Que spice in half and I used Hidden Valley Lite. It was perfect. I am definitely adding this to my favorite "go to" recipes!

This salad was ruined by being too salty. The chicken was salty enough but the ranch plus BBQ seasoning put it into the "INEDIBLE" category. It was a shame tossing out all that food. :-(

We just tried this recipe, and the whole family absolutely loved it! FYI, (for any doubters out there, a "picnic" can also take place on your patio, in your backyard, at a neighbor's house... and this "picnic" recipe can be used at home for an amazing lunch or dinner. We paired it with the smoked turkey and brie quesedillas and it was a better meal than going out to a restaurant!
