I omitted the garlic herb sauce and the dish was actually pretty good. However, the appearance of it was so offputting, no one took more than a "courtesy" portion. They said the taste was good but it didn't look very appetizing. I think I'll tweak a couple more ingredients and give it another whack.

I Love different veggie recipes. Couldn't find that sauce packet, but a substitute was OK. A little too saucy, so I added more veggies. But definately "disguises" veggies for those who hate the green stuff...

It was hideously salty and tasted horrible.

Made this for Thanksgiving, it was super quick and very yummy! It was gone at the end of the meal. Didn't use cognac and substituted turkey bacon.

    Everyone at my Thanksgiving table
could not say anything else but how wonderful the dish was. Not only was
it affordable, easy to make,it was fun! I saw the Holiday program when Sandra was making it, the first thing I thought to myself was, no way am I going to be able to make that dish! But
to my surprise I DID!!! Another thing
I don't usually make recipes from TV
but I took the time to get on the web site. I am so thankful because, I'm going to make the same recipe next year!

It was a hit with my dinner crowd. They are asking for the recipe. It is a rich recipe but was great with prime rib, potatoes and the trimmings.
