not a sandra lee fan really at all, but needed a really good, well-rated, simple recipe for drumsticks as i don't like those too much either... conclusion: delicious! eating a leftover piece now for lunch. i did as another reviewer suggested and marinated my drumsticks overnight with everything except the oil, then I just rubbed the meat with the vegetable oil (instead of canola before i baked them in the oven at 375 degrees for one hour, flipping chicken over halfway through cooking time (very messy burnt mess on pan so use well-oiled aluminum foil. the only other things i did differently was used 2 TBSP of minced, not chopped garlic and only used 2 TBSP and a teaspoon of grill seasoning and a TBSP of no salt seasoning. my grill seasoning was really salty, so i cut back, and the seasoning of the chicken turned out great, right on point. with a few adjustments for my own particular taste, the recipe was great and a hit at the dinner table

I expected much more flavor; especially after marinating over night.

Yummy! I have made this several times. I do cut down the oil by half so all the other flavors shine through, but it is yummy every time!

I use this all the time. Kids love it. I hate drumsticks and I love it too. I like 1.5-2 hours on the BBQ with indirect heat. I used a drip pan under the legs as they are greasy. THe last 5-10 min I put the burners on under the legs to give them a nice crisp. (I have a 4 burner grill. Outside burners for indirect heat, all 4 on for final 10ish min. Tender, juicy goodness.

I never thought I'd make something from Lee's show. It all looks so time consuming! But when I saw this I knew I had to try it. The hubs love grilling. Her flatbread idea is genius . . . pilsbury pizza dough. I cut it in 1/4s and rum the marinade on both sides and grill it up. So delish!

I increased the recipe amounts because I was grilling 10 lbs. of chicken thighs. The only changes I made: I used EVOO instead of canola, added salt & freshly ground pepper and a pinch of red pepper flakes for some heat. I marinated them overnite. Everyone said they were delicious, tender & juicy. My husband raved about them.
I am a veggie, so I'll take their words for it! The person who said this was bland must have left out something.
Thank you again, Sandra; you're my favorite!

I made this recipe yesterday and was disappointed in the lack of flavor despite the fact I had it marinating for 7 hours.

Made this for our father's day bbq. Made a little over 5 lbs. Most of it was gone within the first five minutes and everyone was fighting over the last few pieces. Used olive oil instead of canola, just because that's what I had. Every time I make this...it is a HUGE hit.
