I browned the bacon and drained all but about one tablespoon of the drippings. I still added a touch of butter, but omitted the olive oil. The beans were fantastic! I also used canned beans (2-14.5 ounce cans. Next time I might try to stretch it to 3 cans, since 2 was barely enough for leftover lunch the next day.

And it was a bit greasy too. Still, it was a good effort from Ms Lee. We need more serving suggestions like this.

I thought this was great, but a little too greasy so I omitted the olive oil the second time I made it. Even my 3 year old loved it!

I think these would have been better with canned green beans as the beans were still rather crunchy. I dont think there was too much garlic.

Very easy and it looks like you did a lot of work. I didn't use as much garlic. I just used two cloves and it seemed to be the right amount for me.

Best ever green beans! I microwaved bacon until crisp, drained, then added it to the garlic, oil and butter pan. I used fresh beans and microwaved them 6 minutes. Then added them in pan...yummy!
