The meal was for sure quick and easy, but the white sauce mix tasted awful- a jar of store-bought alfredo would have made it ten times better.

This dish was extremely salty. THe sauce made from a packet was not good at all. I have had lots of gnocchi dishes with various sauces in the past. This was the worst rendition of gnocchi I have ever tasted.

so I know good gnocchi. This was the worst ever. The sauce-I can't begin to think of what it reminds me of. It is terrible. My first executions of Granny's recipe when I was a novice tasted better than this recipe.

The sauce was unpleasantly heavy. The whole dish was too heavy and hard to digest. Would be better with a lighter sauce.

My family is from Italy , and my mother makes home made gnocchi quite often and I think most of the people trying this recipe do not know the true flavor of gnocchi dishes. This one was a wonderful white sauce recipe, and I love the very natural tastes of chicken breast and gnocchi(which is a simple potatoe pasta. One could spice it up if they want but those of us from Italian background love the simple potatoe and sauce mix, with the touch of fresh chicken, and who does not love garlic!!

Although I cooked my boneless chicken by saute and added some gruyere cheese as well, and made my own white sauce, the recipe and idea are great. Other comments to the negative I feel are unwarranted.

When I looked at the photo of this recipe last night after I downloaded it, I thought it was scallops instead of ngoochi. So, I bought scallops instead because I didn't read the list. I thought that the word ngoochi was just the name of the sauce. Oops. You know, you can interchange the scallops with the ngoochi and the recipe is still really just so good! I also used KRaft singles instead of goarganzola cheese because I already had them on hand. I think that it didn't work as well, but I did use the white sauce packets and LOVED it on the ngoochi. Great idea -- I love this web site. Such great ideas for a busy mom like me.
