The potaotes are ok. The gravy was a bitter, oily mess. Canned broth, coffee and butter don't combine in any edible way. It was horrific.

The the coffee/goat cheese combo just didn't work. If I were to try this again I would cut back on some of the flavors. Texture was......interesting....

redeye gravy is not made like this nor does it taste like this. Leave southern recipes to folks like Paula and Alton. They live them.
