I enjoyed the drink but would also like it a little thicker next time.

Mainly writing because as I was reading the reviews, I could not help but make a comment to Food Network too. I also miss Semi-Homemade. I always got lots of tips from Sandra in that show. Her table settings were refreshing in this grab it and go age. AND, I love Guy and Rachel, but we DO need more variety. There is that one night when Guy's Triple D is on for at least 6 hours-give me a break. Repeat the daytime shows at night for those of us who work. Chopped and Iron Chef are good too, but let's remember that variety is the spice of life. I do like Melissa though, don't care much for Aartie.

This mimics the flavor of the grasshoppers from my favorite steakhouse. Personally,I like them a little thicker. Adding a couple of ice cubes did the trick. Make the recipe as is,then tweak to your taste.

LOVED this drink and I don't even drink but I had to try it!!

Sandra.....PLEASE bring back Semi-Homemade, the other new show is just okay, it's harder to follow but I miss the tablescapes, the kitchen background decorations, the easier recipes. This new show is all jumbled with the cost of food and it's confusing. Miss the other show...

and Food Network...please get NEW people, we are getting tired of of Guy, Aaron, Rachael....too over-exposed, don't do this to the Neely's and Paula!!
BTW: Melissa is a mess, she's ridiculous, you should have hried JEFFREY!!!

Briano Boitano is the best new show EVER!!!! NEED more like him, not the over-exposed obnoxious loud people, where's Mario? Where's Elle? Where's Robin?

Get a show with Cat Cora too!!!

Sorry, no where else to "COMMENT".....

    I love Food Network!!!

This recipe is spot on. Adding ice and half & half waters it down. We all loved it just the way it was.

I liked this. I made it with the two ice cubes and two tablespoons of half and half mentioned in the bartender's review.

When I make it again, though, I think I'll use more ice cream and less creme de menthe. The mint flavor is a little strong, and I'd like it to be thicker, too.

I perfected my recipe for this. I think you need to add 2 ice cubes and about 2 tablespoons of half and half for perfection.

Of her many boozy recipes, but it is simply not good. It's a shame because I wanted to enjoy it.
