I made a few modifications and really enjoyed this granita. I didn't really expect it to taste like ice cream, given that it has no milk or cream. I thought it would taste like an Italian ice, and it certainly did. I added a little extra sugar, grated some ginger and actually kept it in the mixture, and used a Zen green tea that had spearmint and lemon grass. The presentation is fun and appetizing, and cutting the oranges was quite easy. Not generally a fan of green tea, I was surprised at how much I liked this easy little dessert. I will definitely make it again!

You can't compare this to ice cream! And it tastes like left over tea water.
