My whole family loved this idea and the soup is delish. The sammies are popping with flavor too.

The SOUP was very nice. I hadn't thought of using tomato juice instead of water and thought that was a clever and delicious idea. I even added a bit more hot sauce to it! The SANDWICH, however, was an unmitigated disaster. Using canned soup as a sandwich filling defies the laws of gravity. As the cheese melted and the soup warmed up, it ran out all over the place! It was a huge mess and I had to throw it away. I suspect that people who say it worked either didn't really make it or altered the recipe somehow.

I was hesitant to try this recipe because of some of the reviews that it got. I am glad I did anyway because my whole family loved it! The soup was good and the sandwhiches where great. I was just careful not to put too much of the cheese mixture on the sandwhiches so that it wouldn't be too messy.

Like a volcano oozing everywhere, as you make it and as you attempt to eat it. It wasn't horrible tasting, but it's not good enough to bother with again.

We like the spiced-up soup but the sandwich not only asted really bad, it was very oozy and messy.
