I'm guessing the people that adore this have never had good salsa? D-
    I won't make it again.

This is the best tasting Salsa I have tried. I love black beans
and corn. Keep the great recipes coming. Love Sandra's shows too!

I am compiling the best appetizers for memorial day for my blog post at yoursmartcart.com/blog. Would it be alright if I included this recipe in my post?

I was looking for a way to use up a bunch of corn tortillas and happened upon this recipe. The corn chips are healthy and crunchy. The salsa is really good for being canned ingredients. And did I read someone say you can't grill frozen corn? Of course not I just used a bag of microwaved frozen corn and it was just fine. Thanks Sandra for giving us ways to save money and eat well!

What a great combination of a few ingredients to prepare an easy meal. It was simple and didn't involve alot of preparation and ultimately produced rave reviews! Thanks for passing this along to women who don't have alot of time to prepare meals!

Used this recipe instead of the slaw for the pork tacos. Perfect combination. I also used fresh tomatoes and added garlic salt. I did not add the beans because I thought I had some in the pantry but I didn't. I think I'll make it again with the beans next time just because of the nutritional value. Corn was sweet and crunchy....Yummy!!!!!

It was impossible to grill the frozen corn kernals!

So I threw away that batch and used frozen ear corn.

I thought this recipe seemed very complicated and you didn't get nothing for it.

I can buy better salsa at the store and what was she thinking with making your own corn chips just buy them.

    Expensive too.

I am surprised to see people claim this tastes "fresh."

Canned beans and tomatoes don't make anything taste fresh.

Still it isn't bad. We thought it was bland, though, and really needs something to kick up the flavor.

I'm going to experiment with it this summer.

My friends have asked for "that corn, cilantro, black bean-thing" for years. Only changes I make is no oil, add fresh lime juice, use fresh tomatoes, and a little apple cider vinegar OR the vinegar from jalapeno slicesfor a tang. I also dice an avocado if they look good. And occasionally have added some shrimp. Really good on top of crab cakes or in fish tacos. Yummm....May try a can of Rotel next time if tom's are out of season. Super easy and healthier than a mayo-creamy dip thing. Love the new show!
