I take this recipe for it's intended use. Quick, simple and relatively tasty with fresh ingredients. I do agree with most of the users that I would not use the taco seasoning. The spices are so dominant that it hides the fish and all you are left with is strong residue of cumin. The second go around, I just cooked the fish with S&P with a panko crumbs and it was so much more delish! I used fresh salsa combined with pineapple slices rather than peach and it complimented the fish rather than all the flavors competing.

No one in my family even finished theirs, the taco seasoning thing with the fish-- just wrong-- maybe if you've never had a good fresh fish taco or something (and my kids love tacos of any kind.

If I could give this no stars I would. I made this for my Semi-Edible blog and it was absolutely disgusting. People on here who gave it more stars didn't even follow the russsipie!

If fish have feelings then this recipe should be considered fish abuse. Also what a waste of taco seasoning. Just because you jam some crap in a tortilla and put taco seasoningon it doesn't make it a taco.

Really didn't like the salsa. Used Medium Tostitos. Might be better melded with simmering, maybe? Threw it away tonight- that bad. Didn't try the other stuff.

My husband and I both loved these tacos. Not sure why so many people didn't. I used fresh salsa from the grocery and did add cilantro. I have used both corn and flour tortillas. Corn is better with this recipe.

    Peaches, taco seasoning, allspice?
    Not a good combination.

Not really a fan of Allspice, so I omitted that portion of the recipe. I also grilled the peaches on my griddle, THEN chopped them up and added them to the salsa. I thought the salsa, fish, and tortilla tasted pretty good. Try adding a little cilantro to it as well.

Really, what was up with the crazy seasoning? It was disgusting. The fish would probably be good using a completely different recipe.
