Just found a site that says that the Grill Mates Teriyaki Marinade is no longer available (mccormick Discontinued Products
Could we see a revised version of this recipe with another product or something since we can not get that particular item for it anymore???

I did mine in a slow cooker, pulled the meat out and got rid of alot of the fat and the stock was too greasy so started with a dry pot and added my own bbq sauce and pineapple juice, crushed pineapple and the sweet chili sauce, definetly added a good sweetness and depth put the sauce back in with the pork for the last two hours of cooking and it was amazing. This recipe was a good foundation but I dont think I would have enjoyed it had I followed it exactly.

Made this today and the family loved it! Added some crused pineapples with the carrots and onions. When the meat was done, I took the carrots, onions, and crushed pineapples and pureed it with some of the Hawaiian sauce to thicken it up. It added more flavor to the sauce. Used Hawaiian sweet dinner rolls instead of the hamburger buns. Deeeeeelicious!

I could not find the teriyaki dry marinade, so I used McCormick's Luau flavor. I cooked the pork in all the marinade, and when it was done, I took out the veggies and cooked the sauce in a saucepan until thickened, and mixed into the pork. I used it as an appetizer for sliders. A dollop of cole slaw and they were read to go.
