Was a little leary about making this at first since i'm new to the whole cooking & eating healthy food bit. But it was fantastic! Also we don't always have butter lettuce near us so I just bought a pre-mixed salad kit. Then I just had to sit back and enjoy a great meal with my family. Will be making again soon.

Way too many herbs -- left a terrible, bitter taste. Also ribeye is sort of fatty, so a difft. cut would work better in a salad.

We love fresh herbs but this was simply herb overkill. It seemed like 5 or 6 times too much. I suspect no one actually tasted the recipe before it was posted.

After all the reviews, i decided to leave out the herbs. We thought the salad was too plain and boring.

I made this salad for the first time today for two of my friends and myself for lunch and it was fabulous. I thought the herbs were going to be way too much but it was absolutely Yummy. We all loved it! Making another batch tonight for my husband. Thank you so much! It was so easy!!!

I substituted blue cheese for the herbs and seasoned the steak with Montreal Grill Seasoning. It was a hit!

I cut way down on the herbs and still it was very strong. The thyme, especially, permeated the whole salad.
Though the herbs seem key to the recipe, I think it would be much better without them. I bet blue cheese instead of the herbs would be a hit.

The herbs totally overpowered the salad and had a harsh bitter bite. You couldn't even taste the meat.

All those herbs ruined the salad. My hubby ate the steak but left all the greens and requested that I not make this again.
