I followed the recipe EXACTLY as written, using A CUP of chopped tarragon, basil and thyme (mixed-- one cup total. Believe me, that will ruin any salad! TOO MUCH, ALREADY!

Lovely salad. The herbs are not overpowering if you don't use too much of them. IMO

The herbs were just too much. They should be more subtle, IMO.

I used dill and parsley for my herbs. This was unique in a good way. We at them like little lettuce burritos.....YUM!!! Couldn't be better for you too.

The rest of the salad (artichokes and lettuce was good but the herbs gave it a really funny taste. Maybe I used the wrong ones?

I liked the nesting herbs idea. But then again, I like the shots of lawn you can get at the famous juice place downtown too.

I felt like Bossy the Cow chewing a mouthful of grass. Fresh herbs are great, but they make a very poor centerpiece to a salad.
