I'm watching the show on which this recipe is featured, and came to the site to save the recipe. However, she added two ingredients not even mentioned here - dried oregano and citrus herb mix! Why is it missing here? Sorry, I didn't note the measurements,

These Wings were NOT hot and very sticky, Not tasty at all. I was very disappointed with this recipe and so were my sons friends and family. I will NEVER make again and stick with my own wings recipe that is a favorite for all. Thought a new wings recipe would surprise all but struck out with this one.

I love these wings! I've made them for several functions and they've been a huge hit every time. I like to make them hotter by using "Hot" taco seasoning and half of a small can of diced jalapenos. Also, I could'nt find taco seasoning w/chipotle in it anywhere, so I bought chipotle chile pepper from the seansoning section of the grocer (made by McCormickand add it for even more kick.

They do get a little "overly" tender and some do fall apart in the crock pot, which is why you should pre-broil the wings in the oven, it helps hold them together. Tender is better than dry in my book anytime!!!

    Thanks for the recipe :o

These are not hot or sticky or good in any way. They are terribly overcooked wings in a thin and greasy sauce. YUCK.

The wings looked so good on TV so I had to try it. Since we weren't exactly wing-people and didn't have a full jar of Apricot jam, I used porkchops and Orange mamalade instead; I dredged and panfried the porkchops first. It was very good.
For those having trouble cooking good wings with the slow cooker, cut the cooking time. I found some slow cookers heat up and cook faster than others. I used to have a 4qt. crockpot that cooked twice faster than my 5qt crockpot that had a removable insert. Another option is finishing the wings in the oven. This recipe is great for leftover jams.

I did use apricot preserves in place of the reccomended type. I also added a little chili and cayenne powder. The result was a spicy sweet wing that just would not stay on the bone!

I like this recipe. I tried to cook it this morning and it turns out great. I didn't follow the recipe exactly, instead of cooking for 2 1/2 hours on high in the slow cooker, I only cook high for 1 hour;after that I put back in the broiler for about 4 minutes. I also didn't put jalapeno, instead I put red crusted chilli.

This dish wasn't that bad, i added habenaro pepper though, After you slow cook it (about an houryou should place the wings on a cookie sheet and back in the oven. :0

I made 2 pots of these wings for a party. One pot followed directions exactly. I change up the receipe for the second pot and it was definitely better. I added another chili for a little more spice. I also cut the crock cooking time in half and returned cooked wings to the oven, which made a crispy wing with thicker sauce. The Chipolte chili taco sauce was difficult to find so I used a package Chipolte marinade instead. In the future I might grind whole dried Chipolte chilies and add a dash of lime juice.
