I have made these about 5 times and they are great. Everyone always "oinks" them down! We have renamed them "date with a pig" instead of hot date. I omit stuffing anything into the date and I sprinkle Cajun seasoning on them. They turn out great every time.

I tried these lat night, but the pinnaple didn't fit and the bacon didn't crisp. Tried them again tonight, but pre-cooked the bacon in the microwave for 3 minutes befoe wrapping the dates and cut the pinnaple chuncks in half. They were awesome!

These were simple and big hit at my party. I suggest doubling the recipe since I made 30 with 10 people at the party and we had a ton of other food. I used center cut bacon as the dates and pineapple provided the sweetness so I stayed away from Maple cured bacon, Highly recommend.

My husband and I hosted a dinner party, at which we served these dates. They were a huge success! We received nothing but rave reviews over these little "hot dates". Delicious!

I made this for a family birthday party, and I couldn't get enough raves. I make this for get togethers now, and there is always great compliments. They are so easy to make, and don't take alot of time, so it leaves me open to make other apps.

I have been making these since I saw the recipe for them last year! My family insists that I bring them to every function - they're always the first thing eaten. Don't forget to put the cayenne pepper on them or they're quite plain.

The pineapple didn't go too good with the bacon. Just too sweet.
