Everytime I make these they always get rave reviews. Sometimes they need to cook a little longer for crispier bacon but the extra time is worth it. They taste amazing with goat cheese in place of cheddar, too.

I made these for a party last night. They were the topic of conversation over a table full of other appetizers. The wonderful combination of salty and sweet is a perfect crowd pleasers. It wasn't easy getting these past family and friends once they tried them. They were so easy to make too.

Made these yesterday and I really liked them. It is a very rich flavor so be prepared. On one hand I wish my dates were smaller to limit the amount of sweetness but on the other, the bigger they are the easier they are to stuff w/ the cheese and almonds. Would be great to serve as an appetizer at a pary because of the richness if you only eat one then it is not overwhelming. Not to say that they are not tasty cuz they are! I thought it was such a different combo that I had to try it.... glad I did. Thanks Sandra Lee :
