Well I loved it.. I used 4 bottles of wine( 2 red/2 white 2 cups of rum and 2 cups of sugar to 2 cups of water. Also I used the juice of one orange when I made the simple syrup. Then I added the fresh fruit and used 1/2 of a cinnamon stick to each glass. I love it!

I Changed this recipe up a little bit & it ended up being a big hit! I Put a Bottle of Spanish Red Wine, a Bottle of Red. 1/2 Cup Brandy or can use Peach Brandy, and added Frozen Berries, Orange(some zest, Cinnamon Sticks and simple syrup. Good to make as a Holiday Drink

We "stay home" just to watch Mrs. Sandra Lee!! Just love her creative deco, with everything matching.
The Hot Spiced Sangria looked very tempting however, on today's show she used four bottles & the online recipe has two. Could someone clue me in as to how many are to be actually used? I'd appreciate it.

It took me a few sips to get used to the brandy. I would use 1/4 to 1/2 cup less next time making it. But it was very good, and I think it would be a great addition to any holiday party!

This was a delicious add to a fall meal. The wine was a little much, so I would possibly cut back on the measurements for the red.

I love sangria normally out by the pool in the summer but I was having company in January and then I saw Sandra making the Hot Spiced Sangria. It was a hit, everyone loved it. Recipe is definately a keeper.
