    YUMMMMMMMMMM!! I made some changes, and it turned out great! I used 1 full cup, light brown sugar (instead of 1/2 C. white sugar, I also used 3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk. I served it warm, on top of vanilla ice cream; and finished it off with homemade whipped cream! My family LOVED it......I will definitely make this again!

    I used the pineapple tidbits instead of crushed. I also omitted the rum because I thought maybe that's why it didn't get great reviews. My husband said he really liked it and would have like to have tried it with the rum. I also added a little brown sugar just because I like brown sugar! Overall, I thought it was an easy and quick recipe that tasted great!

    I used pineapple chunks, slightly mashed, not crushed pineapple. I also used brown sugar instead of regular. I probably added a bit more than the recommended cinammon. That resulted in something not quite so objectionably sweet. My wife loved it!!!!

    Perfect with my homemade ice cream (made from scratch-get it-her new book and so good. I actually didn't make enough. I will double the recipe next time.

    I have made this dish many times on my BBQ grill as a dessert for a BBQ outing. It's better on the grill but the idea is very good.
