This is a very easy recipe. I did make a couple changes, but still rated it high because the method is the same. I used chicken broth instead of water, and have made it with various herbs, depending on what I'm in the mood for that day. It's great with a little thyme, rosemary or basil. I personally do not like cilantro, so I didn't even bother with it. All a person has to do is know what they like and don't like and make changes accordingly. Very simple.

This was very bland and tasteless. All the herb stuck together and was very boring.

I would use less lemon juice. I did add chicken broth when I cooked the orzo and I think it's better this way.

I made it for dinner tonight, very good. My husband said this is a dish he could eat often. Nice and light, lot's of flavor. I just wish you would add the calories to your recipes, we just started a diet and so I am really looking at that now. The orzo was wonderful. Thank you for the recipe.

Thought this dish was excellent but did make a few moderations. I used white wine instead of vinegar and I used fresh basil instead of parsley. Will definately be on my to cook list again.

Great recepie. Very easy and everyone liked it...including the picky eaters. A quick short cut...which seemed very semi-homemade to me is to use the tube of cilantro pure instead of chopping it up. I use parsley a lot so buying a binch or two and having leftovers no big deal...cilantro I don't use as much so I didn't want it to go to waste. In the produce section of my supermarket they have near the minced ginger and minced garlic the have minced tubes of cilantro. I can save it for longer to use later on.

instead of rice all the time. Like all pastas, the water should be salted when cooking. The combination of fresh lemon juice, olive oil, parsley was just right. I cooked the orzo in chicken stock. Fantastic!

Tart, but otherwise listless and dull. No flavor. This recipe need significant reworking.
