My husband adores this dish. It's easy and it is elegant enough to serve to company. I made a double recipe for a dinner party and the men ate seconds and thirds until it was all gone!

This is probably one of my favorite SL dishes. I made this for a little dinner party with four of my girlfriends and they loved it. Really good tasting and an elegant dish.

when looking for lemon curd, try trader joes if you have one in your area. theirs is awesome, and inexpensive compared to most grocery stores. what's in the grocery store could be goodness knows how old sitting on the shelf!!! the lemon curd is also very good warmed up and poured on top of ginger bread or mixed in with plain yogurt.

This was very easy to make. The only thing I did differently was I did not have any lemon curd on hand so, instead, I used the lemon I got the zest from and squeezed the juice out of it. I used 2 lemons to make the lemon juice. Otherwise, preperation was easy and the sauce was still good. I could taste the ginger and soy sauce but because I did not have the curd the lemony taste was a bit weak. Next time I go to the store, I am going to buy the lemon curd and keep it so next time I make it, I can use it. I looked at Walmart, but I didn't know what lemon curd even was and I looked it up online and it says Kroger has it near me. All in all, I felt it was a fairly easy recipe and I am not the biggest cook. I rarely use recipes because I never had the ingredients on hand.

This was a wonderful dish, however I believe it needed more salt on the chicken itself before frying.

I have never made fried chicken before so i was totally stoked with how simple it turned out to be. I loved the crispyness and crunchiness of the coating and the chicken was very moist. But the real treat is the sauce its not too sweet it is just superb. This recipe is a new family favorite and i will be sure to make it again and agian.
