No one found this to be light and refreshing in the least. It was heavy, gloppy and sickeningly sweet.

I made this for dinner the other night and left the sauce on the side after reading the other reviews. The chicken was extremely bland without drenching it in the sauce. I also wasn't impressed by the texture of the breading. The sauce was okay, but I wouldn't bother with it again. My husband and daughter said the recipe definitely wasn't a keeper.

My husband and I watched Sandra Lee's show with the Lemon Chicken recipe and decided that it looked interesting.

The recipe was easy, tasty and yet elegant enough to serve to company.

The hardest part of the entire procedure was finding Lemon Curd in our small town grocery stores. Now I keep a jar on hand so that I can serve this great tasting dish to impromptu company.

This is a great new addition to my easy chicken recipe collection. I didn't try the sauce, but just the chicken was wonderful.

This recipe was easy to make, tasted great and was a nice break from my normal recipes. The coating on the chicken can easily be used in other recipes.

This recipe was a hit at my house. I liked the technique of frying the chicken tenders with the flour and cornstarch mixture. And the marinade with the lemon zest and buttermilk was great. I agree the the sauce can be a bit much, so I will use less next time. I served mine with white rice and broccoli and it was very good. Will make again with less lemon sauce.

For all the negative comments I've seen for this recipe, the complaints focus on the sauce being TOO lemony. The operative word is DRIZZLE over the chicken, not DROWN in it.. !! It is sweet, but used in the proper proportions to the chicken, it's quite good. However, I used it over baked chicken, as I never fry anything.

nice for a change of pace. This recipe cooks up a much lighter version of the lemon chicken I buy at chinese restaurants sometimes. I liked that about the recipe.
