I served this to a family of 6 and we all loved it. I didnt use pastry shells, and i used a whole jar of alfredo sauce as well as a whole package of linguine. I also was low on dry white wine, so I added a little marsala wine to it. I seved it with chicken breasts that marinated in Garlic and White wine marinade seasoning pack. I plan on making this again and again.

it was tasty. i left out the whole puff pastry thing because i just wasn't feeling it. i added some frozen peas and served a chicken breast that was marinated in lemon and rosemary and am now sucking my teeth in contentment. some people just need to work these recipes to their own end sometimes!

this recipe is overkill on carbs but semi homemade show is not about cutting back on carbs or calories. It's about making yummy meals with homemade ingredients and store bought.

serving pasta in puff pastry really seems like overkill. Fat and carbs on top of fat and carbs. It seems like the puff pastry was a part of the recipe for no reason except to use something pre-made.

A parmesan cheese bowl made by crisping a layer of cheese in the oven and forming them on a custard cup would have been a much better choice.
