I loved the idea on the show, so today I made mexican pizza. I bought
tomato basil whole wheat wraps. Everything turned out good, except
it was not crispy, as I would liked it. Pizza is great for two people. It rocked for me. Would make it next time.

I nearly had a heart attack when she put the refried beans in the Microwave?! Someone needs to show her how to chop an onion. She really struggles on that one. I agree with the other comments it's about 75-80% canned or packaged ingredients. Nothing "semi" home cooked here more like processed cheese... Bam!

Although this was not the best I have tasted....Such nasty remarks! You, my dear, should take your pay check and enroll in a spelling course! IMMEDIATELY!

Okay I slightly modified the recipe a bit for our budget because we are picky and only eat ground sirloin which can get pricey. I replaced the ground beef with seasoned black beans. It was definitely a thumbs up for my picky husband and will remain on our regular menu.

Sandra Lee cooks for moms who are busy with multiple children and may not have a lot of money and this recipe was GREAT for my kids. I did add taco seasoning and my whole family loved it. Thanks Sandra!

Honestly, this is one of the worst recipes I have ever seen! Being a chef, I find it hard to watch this woman! 75% store bought? why don't you just go buy a pizza? It'll cost less, and I'm sure your family will understand since you don't take the time to truly cook. I work full time and ALWAYS have time to cook beautiful meals for my family. She and Rachel Ray should take that food network pay check and enroll at a culinary institute imediatly!

In other words, if we just closed the taco (sans so much filling it would just be a regular taco. Since coming from a traditional Mexican family, I would say this version of a Mexican Pizza is loudly misunderstood. In my household when you say "We're having mexican pizza", hungry guests await 2 red corn tortillas softened w/oil, lay on the plate topped with beef or chicken and enchilada sauce and shredded cheese and topped with 2 more softened red corn tortillas cut into quarters. In my opinion, SL should just stay away from creating her own version of mexican cuisine.

Saw this recipe on the show today. My family really liked this pizza. I seasoned the meat the way I always do when making tacos. I had to use canned tomatoes since we are having the salmonella problem with fresh tomatoes. So I added the tomatoes to the meat mixture. Also, cooked this in the house due to high winds in our area today. We will definitely be making this again.
