I was surprised that they were that good. My grandkids devoured them in 2 seconds. I got the thumbs up from them (and from me, also.

Great apple flavor! It was hard not to eat all the donuts once glazed. I will have to try letting the dough rise next time.

These were so good! We keep powdered sugar, juice and apple pie (or pumpkin pie spice on hand. All we need to buy to make these is a tube of biscuits. I love that!

I remember making these donuts growing up and they were awesome! Like others here, we put powdered sugar on them. We never cut the donut whole out ... just pulled them apart in the middle to make the hole. Good tip to let them sit for a bit before frying them. Delicious!

My 11 year old son and I make these every Sunday morning before church.
It is so easy and so tasty we could eat them every day. My son enjoys making them because they taste good and are so easy for him to help make.

I didn't know I'd have to serve these immediately. The ones I tested fresh were pretty good, though they fried up in way less time that the recipe suggested, so mine got pretty brown. But when my guests were here a few hours later, and I put them out for dessert, they were dried up and hard.

I learned how to make biscuits donuts when I was younger. But I always opened the container and just put them in oil and put powdered sugar or cinnamon and sugar. I never let them rise. That makes a big difference! They poof up beautifully and putting the glaze was heaven. I never buy donuts they are not to fattening and expensive to buy. These were .35 cents a can Imade in canola oil . So they are probably a llittle more healthier than buying a donut in a store. I felt like I could've bought them in a store. The were so good!

These were very easy to make and my family loved them. For the icing, I didn't have any apple juice so I juice an apple. The icing came out pink and very sweet.

I'm just getting into cooking. Sandra's recipe seemed simple enough and it was! So DELICIOUS! I'm motivated to try them w/ other toppings. Since you have the oil, you should try her Crispy Crunchy Fish recipe. Super Duper!
