The cake is really yummy. The glaze soaked into the cake, even after I let it cool completely.

I couldn't find marzipan in my grocery store so I just used green icing. I also made just one big bunt. It didn't turn out as pretty as the picture, but it was really yummy.

A little misleading. However not too difficult to figure out how to add pumpkin into the recipe.

This was a beautiful idea, but I found the glaze too thin. I had another bag of chips so I made another batch using 1/3 cup of cream instead of 2/3 cup of cream. Also I added orange extract to give a little more flavor. The first batch of orange glaze soaked down into the cake which was wonderful making the cake very moist. The second batch sealed the flavor. I waiting now for the icing to dry then I going to gather the dripping to coat again.

I changed this cake to own liking and took them to a halloween party. Was a great hit. For pumpkin taste you can use a pumpkin bread mix or make your own pumpkin cake. As for the glaze, I think she meant the orange as color not taste, use paste color for a very orangey glaze. Add any flavoring to make it your own as well. All in all, great little cakes to embelish and make your own.

I used a spice cake mix which was great. I could not find marzipan in my little town, so I settled for fondant, which worked just as well. The only negative thing is my glaze was way too runny! Did not look as pretty and thick as on tv. I might try it again and try to get a thicker glaze, other than that they were really cute.

I substituted the spice cake mix (not a fan of spice cake, with yellow, and it sure tastes good. As for appearances, it just looks sloppy. I couldn't find any good brands of marzipan, and my marble roller wouldn't even flatten it. The white chocolate tastes good, but it was so runny, it just slipped right off the cake. Not a recipe I'm planning on trying again.
