This has the potential of being a good recipe with personal tweaks.
For example, cook your own potatoes. How hard can that be? But I do agree some of your chefs act as if one has everything on hand at all times and cost is no factor. Maybe when you have your own show on TV, you have much more freedom to use expensive ingredients, but "our show" is on the fixed income of diability and retirement. So remember us when you give a recipe...perhaps mention some substitutes that are cheaper, please.

Everything that is put into this potato salad I love! Then, when Sandra put YOGURT instead of Mayo... OMG i was hooked! Tangy, hot, mint, then the earthy flavor of the potato. Why are you reading this... go make it!

This gives a new wave to potato salad. It is a liitle time consuming to chop up the spices but it is well worth it.

I agree with the other comment. This is not budget friendly or easy. Who as brei cheese on hand at all times. Anyone who knows cheese knows brei is not cheep! Nor are spare ribs. Most people don't have cherry cola and preserves on hand, It sounds tasty but who are you kidding? It is never cheaper to buy the pre cut and boiled potataes. Alot of your recipes do not apply to most grocerie stores unless you shop at Whole foods, Your budget is obviously way deferent then the average American family. Especially if your a stay at home mom or dad with one income. Why do all your recipes have jam or preserves. I get the out of box thinking but I think your stuck in your box! I know you did not buy the fresh flowers at a dollar store! I can go ono and on. 30 minute meals is way better for cheap meals. Rachel Ray or Sunny Anderson have a solid grip on reality.

This is definitely not the cheapest way to make potato salad and without salt and pepper it is just too bland. Salt is essential to potatoes.

I think Sandra Lee has lost touch with reality! Does she realize how much more those pre-cooked potatoes in the refrigerated section cost versus boiling your own litle red potatoes?
Making the Peanut batrs she just dumped stuff in without any measuring? That's a total NO-NO when baking!
And her tablescapes are raly starting to anoy me. She was so emphatic that evrything for todays only cost a Dollar each. Well add it up more than $6.00 per person of paper/ throw awy things . Is that not rediculous? Just had to get that of my chest, because it realy does not qualify for a Discount category. Her Sunday Morning Budget Mrals are even worse.
