I added an extra scoop of ice cream and the chocolate liquor. Also I poured half in the glass, then added hot fudge, then put in the last half, and topped it off with mint leaves that were marinated in strawberry vodka....it's absurd how incredible this was!

To the comment from Suzy in Texas... First of all, considering the fact that you're an English teacher, you may want to proofread your comment blasting Sandra Lee's atrocious grammar before posting it. "Starred" would be the past tense of "starring" in a film, for example. "Stared" would be the past tense for "stare" meaning to look at something for a long period of time, which, if you hate this show so much, you shouldn't be doing. See that "off" button on your television? Press it. Perhaps next time you can use this section of the website for its intended purpose, and stick to rating recipes.

Now as for the recipe, my 14 year- old sister and I decided to make it this afternoon. We left out the alcohol, obviously. The only thing I would change is to sub the evaporated milk for regular milk, because it gave it sort of a slimy, rather than creamy texture. Doing that would pretty much just turn this into a basic milkshake, in my opinion, so this is pretty mediocre, but still a cute idea.

It is NOT "frap." It is French and is pronounced fra-pay, with the pay emphasized. When you have a cooking show it is your responsibility to speak gramatically correct English. I get so tired of you "baking it off, chilling it off, simmering it off, draining it off, grilling it off; popping things in the sink, or the trash, or the drain" or anything except the oven. I am even more tired of your "come in here, in here put, put this in here" (what if I am not starring at the TV but listening while I do other things. You call a whisk a whiz, you mispronounce words, egg is not aag and you often use incorrect cooking equipment such as chopping nuts in your mixer. Your recipes are unhealthy and full of chemicals. You continually use "set" for sit. And the worst offense is stealing the name of a recipe and making something entirely different, such as osso bucco. You absolutely DO NOT use stew meat. Did you get a high school diploma? I don't think so! You brag about enrolling in cooking school and walking out because you had a "vision" of supermarked over-processed food.

FYI, JUST WATCHED THE SHOW AND WANTED TO MENTION THAT SANDRA ALSO ADDED FOR ADULTS CHOCOLATE LIQUOR TO THE FRAPPE. EITHER WAY THIS SOUNDS GOOD, BUT I'LL MAKE SUBSTITUTIONS FOR MY HEATH. HOPE THIS HELPS! HAPPY COKING! MARIA

Substitute sweetened condensed milk in place of the evaporated milk. Sugar rush! Also try this with half a shot of Godiva Milk Chocolate liqueur on top. Yum.
