This recipe was easy and came out great. (My grocer even had Bisquick with no trans fat which I like. Make sure you don't mess with the measuremnts at all even if you think it's too dry. I followed the recipe to the T and mine came out with perfect texture. The only thing I will do differently next time is reduce the amount of baking chips by about a half to 3/4 cup, as I like my scones a little less sweet. I know I will use this recipe again

I thought this was a very simple and easy recipe to follow. I just loved them. Very moist and tasty. Thanks

Wonderful! I have made these several times and have made the following changes - I use just one cup of the chips - white chocolate and semisweet chocolate swirled chips (which I prefer. I make strong coffee, but not espresso. Also, if you add about 1/2 cup of toasted almonds, it is sooo good.

Very, very dry scones with a distinct bitter taste from the expresso. I probably won't make them again, but if I do, i'll leave out the expresso and make them the right way: in a loaf pan, to prevent them from drying out so much.

These scones were a huge disappointment. They were so dry they were hard to eat. Plus the flavor isn't that great either.

I tried this recipe this weekend when my sister and borther in law were in town. They were quick to make and tasted delicious, everyone gobbled them up! I did not have strong brewed leftover coffee so I just made some espresso (using instant espresso and used the 1/4 cup called for in the recipe. I will be making these again! :

These were more than delicous. And to go with them my local grocery store has started carrying Clotted Cream which makes them even better!

These were simply too dry to eat without huge amounts of liquid. They were very bitter and tasted lousy, too.
