Very easy and came out delicious. I followed the recipe exactly and mine came out a little watery. Next time I will add tomato paste to the beef mixture to thicken it up. There also wasn't enough of the bechamel sauce for my liking so next time I'd double it.

i found this to a very easy recipe to follow, how ever it seems a bit heavy handed on the cinnamon, so my ex mother in-law that lives on Chios Island in greece suggested cutting the cinnamon in half and adding nutmeg. turned out Εκπληκτική thats greek for fabulous.

I really enjoyed this, and liked it even more the next day as leftovers. My husband, however, not so much. If you have a picky spouse like I do, I would recommend cutting the cinnamon by at least half.

Very easy, very quick. I wondered how I would like the cinnamon in here and it truly enhanced the flavors of everything else. I did use a quart of home canned stewed tomatoes and this step needed to be cooked a bit longer to thicken it up but it worked very well. I will share this recipe at work and I will make this again.

I used lamb and olive oil. It was fabulous. My husband raved about it all evening. Thanks, Sandra

I loved his recipe. The instructions were easy to follow, and the Moussaka was delicious. I was worried about the cinnamon, but in the end I thought it added great flavor. When I prepare a recipe for the first time, I always make it exactly as written. Once I taste it, if there is something I want to change, I make notes on my copy of the recipe for next time. I will NOT be changing anything on this recipe. I have made many of Sandra Lee's recipes, but I think this my favorite. My husband loved it too.

Was very easy to make. It was just as delicious as I was hoping it would be. The cinnamon flavor gave it a nice something special.

I substituted ground turkey for the ground beef and used garbanzo bean flour to thicken the sauce and to accommodate a gluten intolerant guest at the table. In a word . . . WOW!!! Easy, inexpensive and absolutely delicious. Proof? Everyone had seconds and I was asked to share the recipe. Although I didn't think it possible, the next day the leftovers were even MORE delicious! Thanks, Sandra.
