My husband and I loved this dish. I would definitely make this dish a staple in our household. I like lamb a little more, so I decided to use ground lamb instead of ground beef and it was delicious. This recipe was easy to follow and a very filling meal.

Loved it! It was easy to make but also a true comfort food. Never used eggplant before and it was really good. I made it with a meat-free veggie meat product and you could not tell the difference. Easy to make this a vegetarian meal. It will be a new "staple" in our home! Thank you!

I love this recipe! The moussaka was delicious; the cinnamon gave it a very authentic flavor, and the mix of textures--the velvety sauce and tomatoes against the heartier ground beef--was wonderful. My husband and our toddler loved it as well.

I bake a lot but have done little other cooking, and I found this dish easy and fun to prepare. I'm hooked.

The only changes I made was that I added a pinch of allspice and bay leaf to the béchamel sauce and I only had diced tomatoes not crushed. Maybe it was the tomatoes, but mine turned out to be VERY watery. The flavor was great, but the wateriness was a problem. Tip, save the pieces of eggplant from the smaller end for the dip, they're denser and don't cook enough. Also, this does dirty a lot of dishes, two pans, and a casserole (line the eggplant pans with foil so you don't have to clean them too. With that said, I will probably make this again because it was very filling and rich for being under 600 calories a serving.

Yummm, Yummmm. My husband is not a cinammon fan so I didn't tell him that it was an ingredient and he loved it. I followed it with contessa's frozen key lime pie. Will definitely make again but might double the recipe to make a larger dish.

Easy to make. Great flavor. I doubled the recipe and froze a pan of it. I hope it bakes well after freezing. I plan on storing it a couple months.

Wonderful flavor and texture. The ground cinnamon was definitely a great addition I would not have thought to add.
