    This is so easy and so good!!! It takes longer in the crock pot but you don't have to stand over it the whole time, so you can do other things while it's cooking!

    Making it in a crockpot took way more time and attention than making it on the stove -- or using a package. And it eneded up very mushyand salty.

    Texture was bad. I read the reviews and I guess it's from the slow cooker. This is a lot faster to make the regular way. I don't see how the slow cooker helps in this recipe.

    Made according to directions, stirring every 30 minutes. It was fine at 1 1/2 hours but at 2 hours it was total mush.

    This recipe was not very good. The Risotto came out mushy and not very tasty. Definitely a disappointment! The search continues for a good Mushroom Risotto recipe!

    I am not a Sara basher; I have learned quite a few great ideas from her! Altho I followed the recipe to the letter (and am an accomplished cook, this recipe was a gross, gooey, inedible nightmare! I can eat just about anything; however, not even my dogs would touch this! It was like a taupe-colored spackle--a true waste of high quality Arborio rice and 'shrooms. Don't waste your time, money, or calories! ;-(
