Now im just gonna say that this is nothing like naan
NOW, you can use the canned pizza dough to replicate naan though
if you do want to make naan at home using canned pizza dough, heres what you do, cut the dough into pretty triangles, and cook it on a VERY hot skillet for about 45 seconds to 1 minute on each side
Brush with melted butter and top with toasted fennel and or nigella seeds. I hope yall enjoy!

This is NOT a recipe. Naan is never made with all those spices...just because you add Indian spices does not make it 'naan'. haha funny stuff!

So sorry, but you can't just roll out refrigerated pizza dough and call in naan because you're in a mood to. I love naan and this is like no naan I've ever had. All the seeds and seasonings are especially unnecessary.

Made this yesterday. Came out nicely. I agree, from scratch naan is better, but this is a speedy alternative.

This was easy and looked good but not much flavor. I like the idea but would try different seasonings. Thanks A&A Deppen

Of course it's not authentic naan. Did you notice the title of the show? Semi-Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee. The whole point of her show and this recipe is to save time by using pre-made ingredients. Further, the recipe is for "naan-style flatbread", not naan. This isn't by accident. They're not rying to pass anything off as authentic or homemade. I think the real crime is your ignorance.

i myself am indian. of course, we usally have naans. i make them all the time at my house, and we have homeade kind. pizzaa crust?! thats the farthest thing away from naan. your suppose to use flour, like you do in tortilaas. [roti] in my culture. overall,
one of the reviews were right. this is crime to call it naan.

Great subtle flavors. I have done it now with adding dill seeds to the mix and making a garlic butter for dipping. It is fabulous!
