Not a bad sandwich, nothing special though. Other than the strawberries, I have made this sandwich at least once a month since I was a teenager. I would never use jelly though, my family prefers jam. Why bother to post this recipe?

I made these for my daughter's strawberry themed 3rd birthday party. At first people were unsure of them, but after they tasted them they were a hit! I have even started making them for my daycare kids and they love them too.

I never thought to use walnut bread on my cream cheese and jelly sandwiches. Sometimes I put cream cheese on raisin bread or cream cheese and jelly on regular white bread. Those are good too. Maybe I'll try making cream cheese and jelly sandwiches on other kinds of bread now.
