No meat dish should taste this sweet. It really was nauseating.

The recipe was extremely easy and very good, but I was unable to locate "Durkee" brand seasoning mix. I found McCormick brand peppercorn seasoning and it was just too spicy for my taste. My husband enjoyed it...and I remain his favorite cook--next to his mom. :O

Over the weekend, I served my guests a large salad and rolls for lunch and these veal chops for dessert. It was a neat surprise for them, sort of "turning the tables" food-wise. Goes best with a nice dessert wine, like a sauterne.

This was really a great surprise recipe. The peach flavor didn't make it too sweet at all and the glaze was just superb. I used veal t-bone and had to increase the cook time and finish in the oven. The flavors comlimented each other perfectly.

It was way too sweet and didn't taste like fruit -- tasted like pancake syrup.

I can appreciate that certain meats have a natural affinity with fruit (bacon and pineapple, anyone? but this combination was pure overkill. The delicate taste of the veal was obliterated by the candy-like coating and pepper. Won't even try to save this recipe.

For those of you who like fruit with your meat and like things sweet, this is great. It really was easy and delicious.
