This is so easy and so good! My husband and I could have eaten the whole pie but we didn't. I used no fat milk; I do not think it matters since it is such a small amount.

I am lactose intolerant, so I had to make two substitutions: Lactaid for the milk (2%, and tofu imitation cream cheese for the cream cheese. It was still amazing - only my boyfriend and I were eating it and it was gone in 3 days! I'm so glad I was watching and decided to try it out - it was worth the trip across town to get the lactose free cream cheese... I already made another one!

One change....I used crushed oreos with peanut butter filling for the topping and it was delicious!

I made this pie from Paula Deen's Kitchen Classics Cookbook. Her recipe calls for evaporated milk. It's a good pie and I enjoyed it but I'm looking for a really rockin' peanut butter flavor pie recipe.

I tried this after seeing the show the other day (it re-ran today and it inspired me to review the recipe. The pie didn't see 2 days in my house! It was delicious. And by the way, I see there was some confusion about milk versus evaporated milk...the show clearly states milk...the recipe is correct. Thanks Kim for sending this to Sandra and thanks Sandra for introducing this to those of us who haven't seen this recipe before. It truly was worth the trip to the grocery store for the few ingredients I didn't already have!

This is an old Southern Living recipe that I've been using for years. It can be changed up with different kinds of crust and toppings.

We made this right after watching the show and it was easy and amazing! If you like peanut butter, this is something you definitely need to make!

The evaporated milk referred to on the comment below was in the drink recipe from Sandra's show.

This was very easy to make and had a great flavor. I used skim milk and it came out fine.

I believe the Cocktail Time recipe,Absolute Perfection, from this episode called for evaporated Milk, and this recipe called for milk. - Haven't tried the recipe yet to give it an honest rating.

On TV, the recipe called for evaporated milk, but on the recipe it calls for just milk. Which is correct?
