These were good, but did not stay in a small mound. They spread out pretty big. But all in all, they were good.

These did not turn out at all. Flat. Yummy, but flat.

They did not turn out to be SNOBALLS! They flattened and the first tray melted like saran wrap exposed to heat. I never bake for pre-made dough. I am glad that all of myother holiday cookies were from scratch. I will not be making these ver again.

I'm not a good baker so I was excited to see this recipe. But I have to agree with all the other poor reviews.
First, I tried adding the flour, chilling the 1" balls overnight and got big very flat cookies.
Then I cut the balls in half and raised the temp to 375? for ten minutes and got smaller flat gooey slightly browned crisps.
Now I'm trying 1/2" balls at 350?, but I'm not hopeful.
There's nothing to "roll" in the sugar, I sprinkled some over the top.

They sure do't look like little snowballs... Flat as a board!!!
Fortunately I can save them by dipping them in chocolate and calling them peppermint Patties..They were really minty to cleared my sinuses right up!I followed this recipe to the letter..I honestly won't make these again..sorry.

I made my own dough, and these turned out great! I also had to crush the peppermint myself, and that was annoying. Otherwise, there are really yummy!

I also made it once using pre-made dough, and they did flatten, so I highly recommend making your own sugar cookie dough and then making these cookies.

They taste good but look nothing like the photo. Mine came out flat. I even turned the oven down a bit after the 1st batch came out completely flat & crispy. Wish I had read the reviews before -about adding the flour!!!! Still taste good! My daughter loves them!

These did flatten but still tasted very good. I make all of my cookies from scatch but tried these last year due to lack of time and wanted something different...it is store bought dough so lets not compare it to the from scratch cookies. My husband and son ate the first batch and I had to make another. Will try this year some of the other suggestions, watch that the dough doesnt get too warm and add flour. Merry Christmas
