In her cookbook it is titled Dr. pepper pork roast. Cut down on the cooking time or your roast will overcook. I also use an immersion blender to blend so of the juices, onions and fruit to make a great gravy. I have severed this recipe at work and home and everyone loves it.

This is the only recipe of Sandra's that I have tried and found it to be easy to prepare and very tasty to eat. Plus, it was a great way to use up some dried fruits in my pantry from other meals. The pork came out tender, the fruits and onions were soft and good, and overall it was a very good Sunday night meal.

My family hated the fruit in the sauce. Well, they basically hated everything about this recipe. The fruit, the pop in the sauce, the meat being very overcooked. And we are a family of pork lovers, too. Snadra Lee has many other pork recipes which are much better than this one.

I was expecting something "different" and wonderful, but what I ended up with was dry, stringly tasteless pork in a thin greasy sauce. Just awful.

The sauce was sweet and unpleasant. I wouldn't make it using Dr. Pepper again. Just had a very odd taste. I agree that the pork was very dry, but it cooked so long that it fell apart. Would have been pretty good if it was soaked in a decent sauce, but as it was I ended up throwing a ton of it away.

This is the best recipe for pork roast that I have ever tried. And I have tried 100s. Sounds so strange, but give it a try.

The pork doesn't taste the least bit "peppery." That miffed us a lot. Plus it was dry and stringy. My SIL told me later never to cook a pork tenderloin in a crock pot or it will dry out. I wonder if anyone reviews these recipes.

My family loved this recipe. The only thing i altered was the cooking time after reading previous reviews. I cut time time down by 1/2 hr. Other than that i thought it was tasty and very flavorful.
