Tasty! I use olive oil and skim milk, but follow the recipe. The entire family loves them and they freeze beautifully. I serve over buttered egg noodles.
I prefer the Tempo brand Swedish meatball mix to theMcCormicks, but either way it is an easy and tasty dinner.

I first made these several years ago after watching this episode on TV. My family loves them. I made a few changes ... I use olive oil instead of vegetable, turkey meatballs, low fat 1% milk instead of whole, upped the flour a little to compensate for the thinner milk and omit the chives & seasoned salt because they're unnecessary. The Swedish Meatball seasoning comes in a 2-part packet by McCormick in the seasoning section of the grocery store. I've also fixed these for parties and kept them warm in a crockpot. I always get requests for the recipe!

Can't make it because there does not appear to be any such seasoning and I have no clue what the ingredients are. Based on the other ratings, I'll skip this one.

I've made this recipe a few times and all I can say is that it is weird. I follow the recipe "almost" exactly, omitting only the swedish meatball seasoning because I can find nothing of the sort in any grocery stores in my area. I usually just sprinkle in a few similar seasonings, whatever I have onhand. First time I made it, it was a huge hit for something so quick & simple. Very delicious so of course I planned to make it again. But sometimes it sorta "flops." I don't know why. The bad reviews on here almost exactly describe the flops, and the good reviews exactly describe the successes. There's no middle road. Maybe it's meant for a more experienced chef?

Overall, just overwhelmingly bad. I'd never recommend this recipe to anyone.

not very good and the taosted disks were hard and difficult to balance the meatball on. Not a good recipe for children to help with.
