I've tried a recipe from cooks.com as well as Martha Stewart and this one is the best. The worcestershire sauce is what really makes the meat and gravy flavorful, something shared with Martha's recipe. By doing the roasted vegetables separately makes for a tasty side rather than soggy, bland vegetables from the slow cooker.

This recipe was easy to make and tastes GREAT! Making gravy out of the veggies and then topping the pot roast and roasted root veggies with it is a perfect way to get a double dose of vegetables!

My only comment is about the celery-use google, yahoo, wikipedia or a cooking site and one will find that a stalk of celery is the same as a rib. The whole bunch is called a head.
