Seriously folks, the Sandra bashing bandwagon is really old now. The main ingredient in this recipe is Bisquick! Bisquick! Like the previous reviewer said, how can you mess this up?! I've made these twice, once as is and once with 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar. Both really tasty and QUICK! Sandra is not Ina! Get over it...

I followed the recipe to the letter after watching her make it on TV. It was supposed to be for a party, but after the 1st two people spit it out into their napkins, I threw the entire batch away.

Does Sandra Lee even TRY these recipes? Are they triple-tested the way any good recipe should be?

lmao...i'm sorry some of you people are unbelievable, i can tell by the reviews the same people bash rachael ray's recipes...i'm not understanding how you can mess this recipe up??? no you didn't follow it exact...if it didn't turn out-you done something wrong!! i love the people that give their experience in the kitchen and they still can't get a sandra or rach recipe down, just way too funny...i do want to take the time to thank the ignorant for making me laugh

i actually found them to be quite remarkable, especially if you follow directions, i am thinking too many people don't measure when it comes to baking thats why the range of reviews...will make again

These were delicious. I was concerned by the wide variety of reviews - from 1- 5 stars - so almost didn't try them. As a professional baker, however, perhaps I can offer some help? (1 Follow the recipe carefully. A bit too much baking mix, or just a tiny bit too little cream will make a big difference with these. (2 Once the wet and dry ingredients meet each other, handle the dough just as little as necessary in order to get them mixed. The kneading recommended in the recipe is for a yeast dough - not a dough like this. It will make these hard and tough. (3 Use your hands or a fork to mix - do not use a mixer. (4 Make sure the proscuitto you use is fresh and not dry. It should feel like velvet in your hands. If it feels like a piece of paper, it is too dry or too thin or both. Have your meatman cut the proscuitto used in the dough about a 1/4 inch thick, chop it into small pieces, and fry it before you use it in this recipe. Save the paper thin stuff for filling the sandwich. Also, taste the proscuitto you are going to put on the sandwich - if it is too salty or two dry, let it sit in some hot water for a few minutes before using. (5 Use fresh grated cheese, not the dry, artificial stuff they give you in a pizza shop. (6 Lastly, use either marmalade or butter and jelly on the baked biscuits along with the proscuitto. It gives some moistness and really cuts the salt. Good luck!

She also put orange marmalade on the biscuit. It happens all the time with the website. Why is it so difficult to post an accurate recipe?

I made this recipe against my better judgement and it was just a salty dry mess. Will never attempt a Sandra Lee atrocity again!

I absolutely loved this recipe. I am a huge fan of prosciutto and its salty taste imparts a delicious flavor to the biscuits. Even my husband, who is not a big fan a bread, ate them--straight, with no butter! Thanks Sandra for a delicious recipe!

This recipe is fine!!! Just like most of her others!!! Quit being epicurean snobs!!! There is nothing wrong with Bisquick and McCormick meatloaf seasoning. Have a cocktail and chill out!

I would like to know how a review goes from 1 to 5 as a rating? With nothing in-between.It seems like something is wrong. So as a result I will not try this recipe. Yet, I like Sandra Lee. I have tried her baking recipes and they were fine.

Between the prosciutto and biscuit mix, this was way too salty.
